The University of Nottingham has been awarded funding from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) for a new Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT).
The Sustainable Hydrogen CDT is a £10.5 million project in collaboration with the Universities of Loughborough, Birmingham and Ulster, to train 67 PhD students, recruiting these PhD students over the next five years. The CDT will work in partnership with stakeholders to train the innovation leaders needed to translate to the market the novel, disruptive hydrogen solutions required for deep decarbonisation, enabling the UK to meet its 2050 target for carbon reduction and providing globally competitive, highly trained talent needed for the continued rapid growth of the low-carbon sector.
Important activities for the CDT are a successful marketing campaign to recruit the 67 PhD students from a diverse talent pool and the promotion of the CDT highlighting the success stories to our stakeholders. These stakeholders include: the four Universities, the funder and our industry/energy sector partners.
We are now seeking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated CDT Marketing Manager to be responsible to lead successful marketing campaign and promotion of the CDT. The post holder will be part of the Sustainable Hydrogen CDT team, which includes CDT programme manager and CDT administration officer. The team works with the CDT Director to ensure successful delivery of the CDT.
The post will be offered on a part-time (18.12 hours) fixed term contract, for a period of 4 years.
