In support of Minerva Birmingham Pitch Up and to encourage greater engagement between our local successful businesses with our local entrepreneurs, we are running a programme for those interested in finding out more about investing in our high growth start-ups and scale-ups. This is the fourth webinar in this series, covering the important aspect of investing in start-ups and scale-ups

Throughout the series you will get the chance to engage with experts, experienced investors and academics on being an Angel investor.

We aim to break the myths associated with Angel investing including type, age, profile and investment levels

Prof John Lyon is not only an accomplished academic, but he is also a serial entrepreneur, having started life working in the private sector; he has been both an active investor and receiver of Angel funding. He thus comes with a unique perspective to Angel investment. In addition, you will get the chance to hear from another active and experienced Minerva Angel investor on their thoughts of the Do’s and Don’ts of Angel investing.
