Our diverse client base and projects make for an exciting and challenging environment, with previous projects including: NLP of medical documents to help reduce the pressure on the NHS, deep learning video analysis to improve road safety, anomaly detection to identify financial market abusers, and network analysis to spot influencers and communities in social networks.
Spectra have built a scalable backend platform for developing and deploying AI products. We are now in the process of enhancing our frontend systems to deliver a more scalable modular approach. This will allow us to deliver our solutions more quickly and in a more standardised manner.
In this role, the developer will lead the development of these frontend systems, working closely with our data scientists and engineers, and end-users. This is an important role for our business as we grow and improve the scalability of our products.
The primary responsibilities will include:
- UX design for our products
- Standardising, optimising and extending our Vue.js components library
- Developing interactive visualisations including graphs and maps
- Developing unit tests
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
The candidate will be expected to have:
- Worked with customers to design and improve User Experience
- Experience of interactive data visualisation libraries such as D3.js
Additional experience which would be beneficial include:
- Used VUE.js in production
- A CSS pre-processor such as SASS
- A unit testing library such as Jest
