Innovation Week takes place in Leicester from 24th to 28th February, supported by MICRA partners University of Leicester and Loughborough University, as well as Innovate UK and other local partners.
This year ‘Innovation Friday’ will be the culminating event for the Innovation Week 2020. In addition to the usual networking, cake and samosas, there are 2 special sessions lined up during the day. The first session will be led by the Innovate UK’s Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) Managers (Energy, Agri-Food and KTP) who will showcase how the KTN supports UK businesses to develop world-beating products, services and processes through meaningful collaborations, networks and funding. The second session is a roundtable discussion on how we can collectively develop a strong innovation cluster to accelerate the future growth of Leicestershire businesses.
‘Innovation Friday’ provides an excellent opportunity to network with the Innovation Hub Team, enterprising academics from here at Leicester and other universities too, innovators from local companies, recent student/graduate start-ups, regional businesses and innovation support organisations in a friendly and informal environment.
