Innovate UK, the United Kingdom’s government backed innovation support agency; is taking its bespoke scheme to support women innovators to the next level. A new round of funding for the Women in Innovation Awards scheme has been announced.
They have just announced a new wave of the Women in Innovation Awards to find and support the UK’s most promising female innovators to develop their ideas and scale up their businesses.
Ahead of this launching they are holding an event on the afternoon of 1st September 2020 (14:00-16:00) for interested potential applicants to receive a briefing about the scheme.
The Women in Innovation programme was first launched in 2016 and since then the number of women leading applications for grants to Innovate UK has increased by 70%.
Innovate UK and the Knowledge Transfer Network are hosting a briefing event to tell you more about the scope for this competition and the application process, as well as offering the opportunity to network with other Women in Innovation, and have the opportunity to book 1:1 meetings with Innovate UK and KTN.
The winners will each receive a £50k grant and a bespoke package of mentoring, coaching and business support. The awards will last for one year.
If you are a woman founder, co-founder or senior decision maker working in a UK-based company join us to find out more.
